Grav-i-ty (2025)

A doorstep philosophy on modern-day gravity.
Or, methods on how to weigh existence.

Originally inspired by Carlo Rovelli's 'Seven Brief Lessons on Physics', Dale takes issue in finding 'gravity' in the everyday. Through a mixture of imagery that surveys and queries; we can see structures wane, empty space is contained, and existential confrontation.

This doorstep philosophy of gravity considers our environment from an individual perspective. We cannot observe gravity directly but by the effects on other materials, including our planets and ourselves. In the face of such a large mystery of the universe, at a perfect point in the solar system, we have happened to exist. In a contemplation of what is important, through desires and needs how do we orbit this existence as individual beings? Although the largest physical force, gravity is the weakest, it keeps our feet tied to the ground and the planets in limbo, but does not stop us from jumping.
